A comparatively short crostic puzzle.

I was trying to make a comparatively short crostic for the Melbourne Science Fiction Club, to fit on one page of the magazine, but this wasn't quite it. But it will do here!
Once again, try to answer four to six of the clues, and this may give you enough answers  to get it all out. I don't think this is too hard, but what do I know?

This book is really good, but is part of a trilogy, which means one long story, so you have to get all three books, or one big one of about 800 pages.

May 19th 2015 - yet another crostic!

This is from, once again, a Star Trek novel, one I really liked, although it was far over the top!
I have cheated slightly, but letter 63 is there twice in the same clue!
Clue I) is the name of a street near me, but that is probably not a useful clue. The suburb I live in, and a lot of its streets, are named after Sir Walter Scott's novels. Somebody must have liked them!

Remember, answer a few clues, and  transfer the letters to the diagram. Then guess more letters, and transfer them back the other way. Supposedly getting four answers is enough to get out the whole puzzle. The internet is your friend!
